Silently you advance along the dark mine shaft until you see the flicker of candlelight playing upon the rough-hewn walls. The light comes from a cave-like chamber excavated from the tunnel wall. You inch your way nearer, and when you peer around its corner, you see the three Eldenoran soldiers whom you overheard earlier. They sit on a sheet of canvas and are sharing a meal of cold cooked meat and ale. Behind them you see a small wire-haired dog asleep atop a pile of loot that glitters in the light of a solitary candle. The men are fantasizing about how they intend to spend the riches they have looted from Tekaro once the war is over. They are completely unaware of your presence in the tunnel outside until their dog awakens with a start and begins to yap excitedly.
