Hubble is THE discoverer of stars, of galaxies, The most powerful telescope (finally, after its myopia). It has helped us to make huge progress of our knowledge for the universe. Lauched in 1990, it was meant to last until 2010, but NASA re-examined its priorities, and because of new Mars objectives, it should return to home much more early.
We can hope for misfortune of Mars, but for the happiness of humanity, a change of president will change the project again.
